We Believe...
Three dimensions of One God - We believe that there are three dimensions of one God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (I John 5:7, Matt 28:19). We believe in one God who is eternal in His existence, Tribune in His manifestation, and as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that He is sovereign and absolute in His authority (I Timothy 3:16).
God Himself - We believe in the Father who is God Himself, Creator of the universe (Genesis 1, I John 1:1).
God the Son, Jesus - We believe that Jesus is the Son of God (Colossians 2:9, Luke 3:21-23). He suffered, died, was buried and rose from the dead for our total salvation (Philippians 2:5-11). We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 3:36, John 14-6). We believe that Jesus Christ will literally return to earth.
God the Holy Spirit - We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God indwelling, empowering and regenerating the Believer. This Holy Spirit is called the Comforter. He is also The Spirit of Truth (John 14:16-17, 26). We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ atones for our sins and iniquity. It is through His shed blood that we are saved, healed and set free from the bondage and the forces of darkness (Rom. 5:9-11, Ephesians 1:7, Revelation 12:11).
The Word of God - We believe that the Bible is the true infallible Word of God, which cleanses our souls. It holds the words of eternal life and the keys to the Kingdom of God. The Bible shows us God’s principles and standards for living, and it is the food that sustains us in all circumstances (John 1:14, II Timothy 3:16-17, I John 2:5-6).
God’s Special Creation - Man - We believe that man is a special creation of God, made in His image, but that through the sin of the first man, Adam; mankind fell so that all men are sinners and need salvation. We believe in justification by faith, that salvation is free and apart from any work of man, and is a result of the sovereign grace of God (Ephesians 2: 8-9, Romans 5:1). We believe that every person who is truly saved is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ.
God’s Worshiper - We believe in worshiping the Lord in spirit, song and dance, and with the raising of our hands. We believe that we are to praise and worship Him with our whole being (Psalms 150:1-6, John 4:24).
God’s Believers - We believe that, as Believers, we should be water baptized (by immersion). It is through baptism that we publicly identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6, Colossians 2:11-14, Acts 2:38). We believe that those persons who died in their sins without Christ spend eternity in hell and those persons who died with sins forgiven through Christ spend eternity in heaven.
The Church - Body of Believers - We believe that the Church is a local body of believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the head. We believe that each believer has direct access to God in prayer through the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the separation of Church and state, but not in the separation of God and government, Christians are to be the salt and light in society.
